PSG Turns Its Back-to-Back Title Into an Official Book

PSG’s Back to Back official book is the 17.50 euro SKU in a Fanatics-run shop that beat its own 2025 sales record the night Paris retained Europe.

Paris Saint-Germain put a second Champions League title into a 160-page official book priced at 17.50 euros. Pre-order opened on June 2, 2026. Shops received it on June 10, 11 days after Budapest.

The volume is called Back to Back. It sits in the same commercial stream as a two-star shirt the club later refused to reprint, and as a Fanatics-run store that beat its own 2025 daily record the night the trophy came home.

The Official Book Is Already on the Shelf

Éditions Amphora is the publisher. Clément Pernia and Julien Rieffel wrote it with the club named as co-author. Fnac files it as a 160-page paperback in the Sports Collectifs line, on sale in bookstores, Cultura, hypermarkets, and official PSG shops.

The English club store listed the official volume for pre-order while the French site still showed it in stock. The U.S. store page later marked the same title out of stock. Pernia posted on release morning that the book was available that day, “160 pages pour raconter ce que très peu d’équipes ont accompli.”

On June 15 the club’s own accounts pushed a short promo and sent buyers to the shop.

The copy on the product page talks of tears, pride, and a family souvenir. The object itself is smaller than that language. It is a licensed paper product from France, 16 by 24 centimetres, 0.400 kilograms, sold wherever the club already moves scarves and badges.

What Back to Back Puts in 160 Pages

The official line is immersion in the second European campaign, the one finished in Budapest on May 30, 2026. Amphora’s listing calls the 160-page Amphora paperback the indelible record of a season that placed Paris among Europe’s dynasties. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, the club president, writes in the volume that the season will remain a major stage in the club’s shared history and that it also binds Paris to keep going with humility.

It is the second UCL book from the same pairing. Héroïques, the first-title official book, landed on June 11, 2025, at 16.59 euros, in the same 16 by 24 format, and Amphora later marked that first edition out of stock.

THE TWO OFFICIAL UCL BOOKS

Title Release Pages List price
Héroïques June 11, 2025 160 16.59 euros
Back to Back June 10, 2026 160 17.50 euros

Same writers, same house, same trim. The new one costs 91 cents more and swaps last year’s “they did it” framing for a phrase the shop already printed on shirts: back to back.

Only Real Madrid Had Done This in the Champions League Era

The book is selling a gap of 364 days between two European Cups. On May 31, 2025, Paris beat Inter 5-0 at the Allianz Arena in Munich, attendance 64,327, the largest winning margin in a final in the competition’s history. Désiré Doué scored twice. Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Senny Mayulu scored the others.

On May 30, 2026, at the Puskás Aréna, Arsenal led through Kai Havertz in the sixth minute. Ousmane Dembélé equalised from the spot in the 65th. After extra time the shootout went 4-3. Gabriel Magalhães put Arsenal’s last kick over the bar. Attendance was 61,035. Vitinha was named man of the match. Luis Enrique became a three-time Champions League winner as a coach.

From the very first day of this season, the coach said it’s hard to win, and winning twice is even more difficult. So we all had to get back to work. That was the mentality.

Marquinhos, captain, Paris Saint-Germain, after the Budapest final

UEFA’s own recap lists Paris as the second club to defend the crown in the Champions League era, after Real Madrid’s run from 2016 to 2018. The 2025/26 path was not a procession. Paris finished 11th in the league phase, then had to beat Monaco 5-4 on aggregate in the knockout play-off before the spring turned.

THE KNOCKOUT PATH TO BUDAPEST

  • Play-off: Monaco, 5-4 on aggregate after an 11th-place league phase (W4 D2 L2, 21 scored, 11 conceded).
  • Round of 16: Chelsea, 8-2 on aggregate.
  • Quarter-finals: Liverpool, 4-0 on aggregate.
  • Semi-finals: Bayern Munich, 6-5 on aggregate, including a 5-4 first leg in Paris.
  • Final: Arsenal, 1-1 after extra time, 4-3 on penalties.

Across 17 Champions League matches Paris went 10-5-2 and scored 45 goals, matching Barcelona’s single-campaign mark from 1999-2000. Kvaratskhelia led the side with 10 of those goals. That is the season the paperback is meant to freeze.

The Night the Shop Outran Its 2025 Spike

The book is the slow product. The shop moved first. Fanatics operates the official online PSG store and holds the master licence for club merchandising. In the 12 hours after the Budapest final, that store posted the highest sales Fanatics has recorded for an individual team win outside the United States. Saturday’s take beat the previous international daily record by 60%, a mark set after the 2025 win in Munich.

THE FANATICS WINDOW AFTER BUDAPEST

  • Twelve-hour peak: Highest Fanatics sales for a single team win outside the United States.
  • Daily record: 60% above the international mark set after the 2025 final.
  • Busiest hour: 9pm to 10pm on Saturday, more orders per minute than Fanatics had seen on any non-U.S. channel.
  • Top items: Back2Back home and away jerseys, ahead of the paperback that followed 11 days later.

The same catalogue already carries Jordan Brand on the shop floor, children’s kits, badges, and a champions medal. The book is one more line in that mix, not a separate literary project. A salesperson at the Fifth Avenue store, Aileen, said that once the back-to-back printing arrived they were moving 500 to 700 jerseys a day at 175 dollars a shirt.

Amphora Signed On Before the First Star

The publishing side of this harvest is older than the trophies. On January 17, 2023, Paris named Éditions Amphora its official publisher in France for five years. Renaud Dubois, Amphora’s managing director, said the house would be exclusive on that turf and that the plan was three to four books a year, including club history and formats that had not been used in this kind of deal.

At that point Paris had never won the Champions League. The first title book, Héroïques, arrived 11 days after Munich. Back to Back arrived 11 days after Budapest. The 2023 contract is the reason those two objects exist on the same shelf, written by the same pair, in the same trim, with the club’s name on the cover.

Emmanuel Cherki, then in charge of brand identity, said the point of the deal was to put club life, identity, and unused behind-the-scenes formats into print, and to treat Paris as a mark as much as a team. The UCL pair is the part of that plan that now has silverware to sell. Dubois had also talked about a food book, player testimony, and education titles. Those are slower. The trophy books ship while the city is still singing.

Why the Two-Star Shirt Stayed Out of Reprint

The special Back 2 Back jersey, numbered 26, sold out in physical shops five days after the final. Emmanuel Rognon, head of merchandising, later said there would be no restock because the shirt was not meant to be a mass-market product. Collection sales, he said, were up 44% on the 2025 European-title range. The original price was 140 euros. Resale listings on Vinted reached 230 euros.

HOW THE CLUB RATIONED THE TWO STARS

  • Cap: Online buys limited to two shirts per person after queues and flipping in the street.
  • Channel: Any later drop was promised online only, with MyParis members first in line.
  • Physical shops: No new stock for the megastore opposite the Parc des Princes once the first run died.
  • End state: Rognon said the piece would not be printed again.

On June 10, the same day the book reached shops, the match-worn shirt Dembélé played in during the final sold for 160,015 euros on Match Worn Shirts. The auction opened at 199 euros and drew 89 bids. An American buyer won it. Kvaratskhelia’s final shirt made 152,029 euros, Doué’s 131,359, Marquinhos’s 130,485. The paperback at 17.50 euros is the version of that night a normal supporter can still hold.

A Rival Book Went on Sale in Ménilmontant

The official volume has not been argued over as a text. It has been raffled. Fan accounts used copies as contest prizes through June and July, which is how a 17.50 euro history moves when the shirt is gone. CulturePSG, a fan publisher, printed its own account, Merci Paris! Le back-to-back des champions d’Europe, written by Philippe Goguet, and held a signing on July 22 at Lou Pascalou in Paris’s 20th arrondissement.

Two printed histories of the same spring now sit in the same city. One carries the club crest and the Amphora imprint. The other came from the stands. The shop already took its record night. The official book is the object that remains on the shelf after the two-star jersey does not.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the PSG Back to Back official book cost?

The list price is 17.50 euros. Fnac offered a 16.62 euro pickup price, a 5% cut for store collection, and the volume weighs 0.400 kilograms in a 16 by 24 centimetre paperback.

Who wrote the official PSG Back to Back book?

Clément Pernia and Julien Rieffel are credited with Paris Saint-Germain. Pernia has now written 11 books and runs Paris United; Rieffel posts as a co-author on the Amphora launch.

Did PSG publish a book for the 2025 Champions League win?

Yes. Héroïques came out on June 11, 2025, at 160 pages. An expanded edition of 221 pages, priced at 19.95 euros, followed on February 19, 2026, covering a calendar year that also included the club’s first Intercontinental Cup.

What is the ISBN of the Back to Back PSG book?

The EAN is 9782757607244, Amphora SKU B724. Héroïques used 9782757606308 and SKU B630, so the two official UCL books are separate catalogue entries from the same five-year deal.

How long is the Amphora deal with PSG?

The club made Amphora its exclusive official publisher in France for five years from January 17, 2023. Dubois said the house planned three to four PSG books a year, covering history, culture, and formats beyond match recaps.
